Great year 2009 end & 2010 begining- classmates meeting after 40 years

What a great new experience & exhilarating feeling the last 2 weeks - about 18 of us from the same class in school came together on 27th Dec and then again on 2nd Jan in Mumbai our home-town where we were all studying in school in Mumbai. And we are all meeting after almost 42 years; we were all boys meeting though we went to a co-ed school and most of us were meeting each others' wives for the first time too. This happened b'cos after college graduation most of us went to USA, Canada, UK ( I to Germany but returned after studies completed while the others did not)and lost contact of each other as in those days there was no internet!! We all met over 2 very lengthy dinners- one in the last week of Dec 2009 and the other on 3nd Jan 2010 Anyway except for a couple of class-mates who stayed in Mumbai and the rest out of India and I being in India but based out of Mumbai, mostly we could only get in touch with each other and over last year and then decided to meet end 2009 - but as many had other priorities we had to meet twice so that everyone could come together- 3 could come only on 3rd Jan 2010 ( so we had a second get-together)while 4 had left for their respective countries, but that was not much of a problem as they were in USA along with the others who were from USA but not there in the second meeting - anyway it was like something never experienced before to meet after 40years and then tho basically we could recognise each other -all had their hair grayed, turned a little fatter or had huge paunches and were careful in their languages as their wives were around - but it was great get-together overall & as the wives also learnt a lot of well kept"open secrets" about each person when in school. This fun & enjoyment I doubt we would have had if we all had been meeting regularly or had even met once in the last couple of years!! And all this was thanks to the internet helping us to bring us together.
