Well, I have certainly been there in the past but I made the resolution to give up drink and I'm very happy with my decision! I'm not saying that alchohol should be avoided altogether, I suppose it's ok to drink socially but that's it! Yes, drink definitely does make you forget your troubles, but only for a short while! Come next morning you are left with your thoughts once more and a possible hangover! May I ask a question that isn't meant to be disrespectful in any way! It is not bad if your intentions are for quite some relieve from pain. Sometimes, people have to find ways to release their feeling about life and what caused them to be lonely at the moment. If in that way, you can be at least relax. The most important there is you know your boundaries and responsible enough to your actions and opted to do.
