I have been reading a lot about advertising and have found that some people would rather watch a video about a program than take the time to read about it. Then there are some who would rather read about it...I have been using both methods on my blog to get referrals for good paying programs. Yes, these programs have been tested not only by me but have been tested and recommended by some top money makers. Before I go any further with my advertising I just wanted to get an idea of what you would think is best, using videos or text ads??? After all it is YOU to whom we are advertising these programs, so your opinion is highly needed. Videos or Text ads??? And why???

It depends. Of course, in advance countries like the U.S. or Europe, video marketing is an edge. But keep in mind that, if there are advance countries, there are also those a little behind when it comes to technology, especially with regard to Internet connection speed. When I consulted about this with a programmer and a website designer, they said, they still prefer to create websites that are simpler and faster to load. They still prefer old html programming instead of creating sites full of flash programming and video streaming. Like me, I am from the Philippines, and the speed of my mobile internet sucks (SmartBro from Smart Telecom). How many of us here experience like that. Majority of Filipinos here, and considering we are better off than other third world countries. How will your advance websites deal with them? Remember, advance countries are just small portion of the world. The larger part are the third world countries. So consider all things, not just believe what the so called experts are saying.

Frankly I don't believe half of what those self-proclaimed gurus say. That's why I ask the average people who use the Internet. I have found that to be the best way to learn what people want and/or need. That way we can communicate at a better level. I am now convinced that videos AND text are what is needed. Best to cover both areas to reach all when marketing.

Well, I have MS and visual problems make reading very tough for mr at times, So I would say video, of course it would depend on the size and boldness of the type also. But I get around most of this problem with the settings on my computer, either way a video is much easier for me.

I can understand why a video would be your preference. Then there are those who have a problem with their hearing, so I am thinking that it would be best to make it a choice of the readers of the website/blog.
