All in all I made at least One thousand seven hundred dollars writing online for one year. My earnings come from different writing sites.

Last year, I wrote articles for a citizen media website. I was with them for 4 months and they paid me 200 USD.
I also earned 35 USD from Bukisa.

Bukisa is a content writing website. It accepts articles as long as it's informational. It pays a continuous residual income around 4 dollars per one thousand views.
Plus, Bukisa also has a referral program which gives you a portion of what your refs made.
There's a Bukisa banner on my link. Why not check it out.

Can you enlighten on what Bukisa is? I am interested in finding other ways of earning money online. I'd like to have a side line to help me pay the bills at home.

I made $2450 last year with online writing. This was mostly through private clients. Involved a lot of blog writing, but also did a bit of forum posting and blog commenting too.

i dont make as much as you from online writing, since I started only last year, and active for a few months out of a year.
Right now I stop submitting to writing sites, and focus all my energy into blogging. it's much tougher to have own blogs, and getting traffic is rather hard for blogs less than two years old.

that's nice. and good, too. aside from encouraging also.
well, i've been writing for the web for over a year now, almost two years. i've never deliberately written for money, just to create quality content and develop something in a new medium.
i was into print for more than 20 years and i continue to publish specialty newspapers occasionally. check my website, http://pinoygnews.multiply.com/
considering the state of economy these days and the retainers i get, i am seriously thinking of making money from writing.
so, if you kind enough to make my entry a little easier, you can probably give me some sites where i can post regular writeups.

Well the only website that pays we for online writing would be mylot and I've earned over thirty dollars from this website but I've been a member for quite some time. I like this website and even though the pay isn't the greatest it's still nice to get paid for just kind of wasting time or staying busy.
