Personally, I love the sound of vinyl LPs and still have a decent enough turntable that was bought in the early 2000s. In fact, you can pay way more money for a turntable than a CD player as they are made of sturdier materials for some reason.
I grew up listening to vinyl and resisted acquiring a CD player until 1989! Even now I will dig out a vinyl LP as opposed to a CD because of the memories it evokes. I can always remember buying LPs but not CDs even though the former was years ago. It maybe due to the LP covers, much bigger of course and sometimes I even got a poster inside..woohoo lol. I find LPs have a warmer sound but can rock when required. All CDs (to me at any rate) sound the same.
I'm getting old!

You must have good ear for music. I don't. For me it is all the same, only life concert is not. Friend of mine has his own collection of vinyl records, total of 5 thousand. He has his own band and he records music. He also loves vinyl records.
