He deleted his whole family!

Including you? I can understand obscure extended family... but I would think you would keep in close contact with your immediate family. Maybe he figures since he lives with you or if he sees you on a regular basis, then he doesn't need to be facebook buddies with you. I've never done a mass delete... but then I don't add anybody I don't know in person either. And I don't use facebook much.

It was probably because there was stuff on there he didn't want this family to see. I know that I keep my profile private and don't friend my family for this reason. I actually just recently deactivated my account because of how little I use it.

are you talking to me? har har har i deleted my relatives at facebook too. it happened after a flood flashes our city. i am from the philippines and my moms house was flooded up to the roof. so i went to facebook to ask help to all my relatives specially the ones who live abroad. what i got was cold shoulders. i waited for responses from days and i waited until a week. after that i made a shout out that i was so embarassed.... then after a few days i deleted them all. i save a few of my cousins but my aunts and uncle i deleted them all. i have my reasons.

Yeah I do. I am very particular about who I talk to and show pictures of my kids to. So if there is someone who never talks to me I just get rid of them. Not family though... no I did erase my dip sh*t brother in law but that's for other reasons.

Well, I think my brother thinks facebook is a strange and hostile world that will eat him and swallow him and spit him out in small pieces if he ever enters it, so he'll never do something like that. I've never done a mass deletion, I have deleted one or two facebook friends that I didn't really know in the first place but never a whole lot at the same time.

no it is a bad work to delete someone from face book. I never any people from facebook without any disgusting people. I did not delete my friend. i like to chat with my friend in facebook. thanks!!!!!!!

I am not on Facebook. Per say, Facebook is for friends. I would keep my family separate on social networks away from the friends section. I would create private facebook account for family only.

NO I haven't and I wouldn't delete family members anyway. I have gone through my friends list on Yuwie and deleted inactive people.

Hi, lilybug. No, I have never deleted any of my family members off of facebook. I don't really know why your brother deleted his family members. That is very sad. Maybe he is upset about something and he is just taking it out on his family?? Whatever the reason, I hope that he can explain it to you all.

well, maybe he wants to keep something from you. or whatever the reason behind his mass deleting. i think it is a sign of pain. i never tried mass deleting. facebook got settings for private or group viewing.

Why would he delete his whole family? Does he have a grudge on them or something maybe he just accidentally did it. I only delete people who I really don't know or who I added just because of a facebook game I am playing but i don't think I would delete my family off of my friends list unless the reason is I am really angry with them or if I want to cut my ties with them completely.

Hi lily bug: I haven't done this and that's strange, but even with that, if that's what your brother want to do, if he wants ignore his family throught his facebook, there is nothing i think you can do on it. The only "similar" experience I had was with a friend of mine. We had a big discussion so he delete me from his facebook. This was not what i want but it was what he do and i accept his decition.
