loneliness

Ya,loneliness means to be alone to be left with himself only! it has got a negative tone attached with it,its used when you are not liking to be alone and have no other option then you say you are lonely! but the brighter side of being alone is 'solitude',though both of it literally means the same thing,Wordsworth used the word 'solitude' to describe the not so gloomy side of being alone,he referred it as "bliss of solitude"! Both of them have the same literal meaning but can describe two different feelings about the same thing!
