A lot of things have weird names. At least the color of goldfish is close to the color gold.

Chinese called it goldfish. gold here means golden, good luck and wealth in China. coz at first only rich people can have the rare goldfish. now there're many kinds of goldfish, and they have different colors. but their ancient was golden, so... like my ancient was called HE, now my family name was HE. haha

yep... i agree with u. I think, it looks orange. why don't people call it orangefish. hehehe......
