autorun..

I also have autorun.info folder in my local disk (drive C). I already tried scanning it with my Symantec Endpoint Protection, no harm detected. I think that's okay to let it remain there as long as there is no harm caused to you. One of our buddies here is right, it's just a left over file that resist deletion.

Autorun is not a virus but it is most easiest way to put a virus into your system most of new antivirus consider auto run as virus only specially new onces So one should never auto run any new cd,dvd, pd etc if u wanna open any file use the explore function by that u wouldn't get any viruses in your system even if that disk has a virus until of course you copy virused material or install it in your pc.
