After getting my Macbook Pro last year, I spent a whole lot of time changing its innards for better performance. But however, I dropped it on the bus once and the Aluminum unibody suffered a little dent. But then 1 week later, the fan failed to start, and I had to send it for repair later on. Any of you has had the same problem? Feel free to express your feelings and experiences, I do hope some Apple Employee will come by on this discussion.

generally i dnt prefer Apple for laptops bt in case of MacBook i m just gone out of controll. As u have mentioned Aluminium unibody is not gud bt then i lyk it because it is got for it. it is gud just in case if it is gud in working bt as it starts failing then it is impossible to get good & have a nice use of it............

I think every Laptop or MacBook or PRO Macbook Will break if it hits a hard ground. My laptop feel a few times I didnt really get a Dent or anything but there was a point in time when the screen was just acting up. But its fine now because I pray to God haha.
But I think yeah a unibody like that can be mess up same thing with almost every computer unless its purpose was to be made for dropping on the on the ground. But hey. At least your macBook Still works and how much did it cost you to replace the Fan and etc?
