Would you rate your lecture notes as neat or messy?

My class notes might not look very beautiful or decorative(there are many of my classmates who spend their time doing decorations with different colored pens!)but they are neat nonetheless and of course they fall into the category of being legible(as many of my friends use them before the exam, they can obviously read them otherwise they wouldn't have passed!). But there are some teachers who just don't seem to understand that we aren't sitting with tape recorders and so that we can write down what they are saying, they need to maintain a decent speed limit!

My lecture notes are always messy. But for subjects that i like they are well organized. For others I just keep on taking notes so that i dont fall asleep. Since in our college there are guides that are specifically tailored for exams i dont need the notes very much.

I type most of my notes out, so they tend to be very neat. However, I remember when I used to take handwritten notes. Needless to say, there is a pretty good reason why I type on the computer now. My handwriting would make a doctor blush. I actually ran across some old notes from like my junior or senior year of high school. Abbreviations, random writing in the margins, smudged, but I'm pretty sure I could read it then because I know what I meant. With a fresh mind, I cannot make heads or tails of everything.

i hold the same idea with you. Though it feels cool when i settle down the lecture notes fast and messy, but when i come back to review it's a great pain to look at this.

Way back when I was still a student, my class room notes in almost all my subjects are not organized, its not messy but its not also clean however I am comfortable using them. By the way I graduated with high grades and thanks to my Not too Messy and not to clean notes.

Ow! Well it's up to them making their notes very beautiful or decorative as you said. Sometimes some people expresses themselves through creativity. And you can't do nothing that's their choice what important are the lessons the teacher had taught to his/her class. It's a waste of time doing decorations if they hav'nt learned anything at all...
