You are an adult now you have all rights to decide on this because it is your personal matter. I have a different opinion, but this is only my opinion and I am not telling you to follow that. I think that it is good to have a baby only when you are financially in a good stage to support the baby. Other than financial situation, it is important to think about the health of the parents and the situations available to take care of the baby. I am sure that it will be fun to have a baby at 18. Then, you will have the heath to take care of your grand children. It is good to have a baby at young age if the financial situation is good. Every lady is different. Some ladies feel ready to have a baby at age eighteen whilst others would rather wait until their mid twenties. Some eighteen year olds are involved in studying and some are at the beginning of their career. Not every eighteen year old is ready for motherhood. Having a young baby is demanding and the expense begins during pregnancy. A baby needs a cot, bedding, bottles, toys, nappies and a bouncy chair. In the first year there are many baby clothes to buy and in the pregnancy maternity clothing can be pricey. A young baby needs care 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Night feeds can be tiring after a birthing experience. I love my baby girl. She is now 6 months old. I hope that it will go well if you begin your family now. In my opinion yes I think it is too young unless you are stable and financially prepared. Having a baby is a beautiful thing but if you are not prepared financially and stabilly it will be hard for you guys. Also you have your whole life ahead of you.
