I have observed that when people who drinks Whisky take peanuts as their combination. Is there any real connection between them? What has peanuts to do when there are so many foods can be combined? What do you think?

i dont know the relation between the two. All I know is peanut is always been partnered to almost all kind of liquors in the bar. I think they choose peanut because peanut is a finger food that can be consumed easily and you wont have the feeling of full that easily.

I agree with you, peanuts is the smallest nut that can possibly be much lighter when eaten . Thanks for your response!!

I dunno about why Whisky would be partnered in particular. But it is an old bar trick to provide a salty snack to the patrons as salt makes people thirsty, if your patrons are thirsty they will buy more drinks.
