Does winter in KY scare people to much or are they preparing for something some never do? Last night people bought out the store on milk and things like this like crazy. We were suppose to get 3-5 inches of snow but we did not. I did go in and get kerosene but it was not out of fear of no electric or the snow but out of need I was out. What do you think are people just to scare for there own good and rush out to buy things when storms are coming.

Oh it just drives me crazy because I deal with the same thing here in Western KY...they call for a few inches of snow and if you're not at the supermarket when they do you may as well give it up because if you're planning on making a trip to the market after they've called for snow the markets are going to be sold out of most necessities, bread, milk, etc. I thought I would fool the local "hillbillies" and go to Walmart and get the stuff I was going to need, well I was the one who was
"Fooled" because they had even wiped Walmart out!
I guess the reason it aggravates me so is because I was raised in Utah, where 2 feet of snow was the norm and we didn't rush out to buy the store out over just an inch of two or snow.
Oh people really aggravate me in this state!
