Eating On The Couch

lolz I sometimes eat on the couch and watch tv. That is when I'm alone and my family is away. I sometimes leave some mess and food traces on the couch and on the floor..hahaha But I make sure to clean it all afterwards.

My wife and I usually eat in front of the TV. We have a new baby and are trying to eat together more as a family at the dining table though.

I can only eat at the table. My roommate in the other hand can only eat on the couch watching TV. I don't watch TV and I can not eat without table.

It depends with us. We usually make the effort to set the table and sit down and eat as a family but there are times when we are watching something on T.V. or we can’t be bothered setting a table we will eat while sitting on the couch. If we have guests we always eat at the table. My mother would be horrified if she knew we sometimes have dinner on the couch; it’s a big NO NO in her house!

Everybody at the table, no phone, cell phones or texting allowed. Sometimes the news is on in the background and I let that slide because it can be fodder for conversation. Everybody is so busy that if we didn't eat together we might not get another chunk of uninterrupted time to talk and touch base with everyone.

i eat on the couch too but i wont eat certain things becasue it can mess up the couch i just like to watch tv when i eat that is why i like to get chips when i rent a movie it just makes it better to watch.
