problems with languages installing

hi there. well, i've got a problem in my pc, if you could help me... you see, a while ago i had to format my pc. when i did that, i installed the windows version i've always had (an unnatended edition), that have never given me any serious problems. after some days i noticed that it didn't show any character of japanese, chinese, arabic and any other writing system. i installed those languages in the regular way (you know, control panel, languages, tild those two boxes, insert the windows disc, reboot), but it doesn't change at all. i tried uninstalling and installing again several times. i even formated again, but no changes. where it should be the characters, there are only things like ?? ????, like numbers in boxes, as you can see. if you have any time to help me i'll really thank you. ask if you need more information. see you!
