are death and taxes.
i want to ask you about the first one.
Do you have your um final arrangements in order yet? ie the whole funeral home business, plot etc? do think it is morbid? gross? do like to plan ahead?
last February my dad passed away suddenly and while they did have insurance for all that, they had nothing planned. my mom was definitely in no condition to plan for much so me, being their (only) child had to step up to the plate. it was a tough time for all of us.
hubby and i have a friend who works at a funeral home and are definitely looking into planning ahead. i just think its smart to plan ahead. what do you think?

Just given our family situation i think we are not the noraml 40 somethings, we do have our arrangements all made. If something happened to both of us I wouldnt want the kids to have to deal with all that. I lost a parent at a young age and I know i wasnt knowledgable enough to be making choices like that so just dont want my kids to have to go threw the same thing.

I've started. I filled out a form from a mortuary indicating the kinds of things I want when I die. But I don't have money to cover anything yet.

My parents had all their arrangements made. And yes, I think it's a great idea. And no I haven't made arrangements myself.

How about changes. Change is constant. It's not everyday that things are the same. Change has its pros and has its cons.
