Hi guys, Ive been a member of ebay for about 3 years or so. Ive been only using it to buy stuff and only sold once. So I was thinking of starting to make money with ebay and eventually become a powerseller! So I was wondering if any powersellers or experienced users that use ebay to make a good amount of money could help me get started? So if anyone is out there that knows a lot about selling on ebay please add me and any help is appreciated!

I would personally go to the smaller sites with no listing fees involved. This way you have no risk of losing a penny. Unless you plan on selling really high-end stuff, Ebay really isn't worth it.. on my opinion. It's popular, yeah. But the listing fees eat up your profits!

I have been selling on ebay for over 2 years now, just for some extra cash. The first year I made about 3k, the 2nd year about 2k. This was with minimal effort and considering I had a kid in between so it made it harder with no time to dedicate to selling things on ebay. Its super easy to sell anything on ebay, but the only thing nowadays is definitely the fees. There are a lot of fees they charge, but if you can manage to buy something cheap and resell at a higher rate its worth it. I have sold pretty much anything I have found on sale at a store or online. For example, I have bought things from the dollar store, clearance items from target etc. I usually check the Sunday paper for weekly deals on items and resell those things. I also check deal websites to find cheap items to sell. There are tons of products out there, just keep your eyes open and you will find things to sell easily.

Hi wuduyathink, It depends on what you want to sell. I myself have sold a few things on ebay and have run a couple of ebay shops for friends. I think the best way to be successful on ebay is sell a product that you know about. Find a niche that you know and stick to it. The best tip I can give you, is just be honest with your listings and with the buyers, once you are a trusted seller people will always come back and buy from you again.
