How do your pets get along?

I have many pets (six rabbits, two guinea pigs, a cat and a dog) and they are not exactly friends. The dog chases the cat whenever he gets the chance, and dog and the cat can't leave the guinea pigs alone. The cat likes to climb around on the cage, and she scares the guinea pigs. Our dog barks at the guinea pigs and he also scares them.
There have never been any problems between the rabbits and the other animals. The cat completely ignores them and the dog looks at them every once in a while, but that is all.
Do you have more than one pet? How do your pets get along?

we have 6 cats and 2 hens at home.the cats usually ignore the chickens for much of the day.the chickens don't bother the cats.when it comes to feeding time, though,it is a complete war zone.the chickens want to eat the cats' food!they don't want to eat their food.when the chickens can't get through the cats' food, they will cluck really loudly.that's why during feeding time, someone has to shoo the chickens away first so the cats can eat.if there are some grains left, the chickens will eat them all.

Hi Porcospino,
We have got 1 Cat and 1 Dog. They seem to be best of friends and if one's not around then the other looks for the one who's not around i.e. if the dog goes to the vet and stays over night then the cat comes and sees he's not around and looks. It's funny though if the Dog is around and he's misbehaving then if the Cat's around and he just keeps misbehaving like totally not listening to people then look out for his tail and himself cos there comes the cat and he gives him a swiping and tells him to start listening or else, not once but anything up to 6 times on the behind.
Catch ya later

Right now we just have one pet. We have a 4 month old yellow lab puppy. But a few years ago we had a dog and a cat together at the same time. When we first got the kitten it wouldn't go anywhere near the dog. the dog just wanted to be friends but the cat wasn't having it. slowly she kept letting him get closer and closer till eventually they were buddies. they used to lay together and cuddle up in the cutest way.

I have adopted two of my own from a no kill shelter and luckily they bonded with each other. They get along well and barely fight. Now my mom's cats, three of them don't get along with the eldest lol. After 8 years together they still get into it with each other. One either antagonizing the other. It is funny but we make sure they don't do anything too serious.

I have 3 cats at home. They don't get along very well but they're ok. One of them is always very annoyed seems to want to wage war on all cats and humans (evil kitty! lol). Then when that cat provokes the others, the other 2 cats get mad at him and it's a never ending cycle. Sometimes 2 of them play with each other though, but it rarely happens, and we never have all 3 cats being friendly and playful to each other at the same time.

I personally have a cat, a dog and a fish. Oddly enough in my house things run a little differently. My cat is the one who does the chasing, and not just my dog. My cat is only about a year old so he is still very playful and he loves to case my kids around the house as well as our dog. My dog on the other hand tries to keep to himself unless he is snuggled up next to you on the couch. I guess it is different in every house. Over at my mom's house all the pets get along and she has 3 too.

I have 2 dogs. One I have had for 4 years and one for a month. The stipulation on the 2nd dog was that my first one approved and liked her. She did, so we adopted the 2nd one. They sleep side by side and never fight. It is like they were sisters.

I have one dog.I'm waiting to get a second dog.I have to wait for the puppy I want to be ready to be away from it's mother.I'm getting a Jack Russell mix.I'm excited, but I'm gonna introduce the dog I have now to the puppy outside the house. It's not good just to bring a new dog right into the home.My dog will take to it,because he loves other dogs.
