I know it's been a while since I've been on here. I have just been so busy with my daughter and of course my older children. My daughter will be 6 months on the 10th!! Were did 6 months go so fast? She is an independant sitter, tries so hard to crawl, can almost roll over and she is eating table food, well almost she eats those gerber puff things and others that disolve fast. She can also bear weight on her legs and can stand up if leaning up against something. Everyone thinks she will be the one walking around 9-10 months, as it's not uncommon in my family. I cant believe how much she has achived in just less then 6 months! My two older daughter never did any of that at this age so it's like being a 1st time parent all over again. My oldest didnt crawl until 12 months and my middle daughter was 9 months. My oldest daughter couldnt sit up by herself until she was almost 9 months old and my middle daughter was 7 1/2 months. My oldest daughter walked at 15 months and my middle daughter was 17 months. I just had to share with you all, as the last update was back when she was maybe 2-3 months. Did any of your children do things quickly or were they more laid back like my two older daughters? I would love to hear what I have to look forward to.

hi, i enjoyed reading your news about your 6months old baby. She is a fast growing infant at her age. Don't be surprised because now a days babies grows faster. I have a very similar experience like you with my daughter who is now 2 years old. I know you would not believe me but my daughter at 2 months old she was able crawl but that she did it once. at 4months old she started her cereals and she loves table food specially fish soup.at 5months she has her first tooth lower part.at 6months her she started crawling and responding whenever you sing songs or dance.but she tries to do her first steps at 8months.and now at her age she can memorize her baby rhymes like the eenzy winzy spider and the famous Philippine children song Bahay Kubo. She can identify colors and animals and her alphabet.I think the reasons for these is that when i was conceiving my baby i ate the right foods and drink vitamins that helps develop the child in my womb.i don't entertain weariness or any negative thoughts at that time of my pregnancy. I am happy for you that your daughter is healthy. No nood to worry about the things she can do at her age.you will expect more to come for sure...it is a blessings for you....

Thank you for your response. Sounds like your daughter is very smart for her age. I think as well as do many others think that because I went a day over due with her that made a huge impact on her development now. My older 2 girls were born 4 1/2 weeks early. So, I'm starting to think that maybe their right. Also the fact I was a very young mom both times, 17 and then 19 so I didnt really understand how important tummy time and floor time was. I just new they loved their baby walkers and ultrasaucers and now I know that prolongs their development.

I really liked reading the news about your six month old baby daughter. She sounds advanced for her age. My oldest son did everything at the normal time. my other son is disabled and so he development was delayed and he is still unable to do many things children of his age can do. He has got spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He can crawl around but he can't walk. He was more than a year old before he could sit up unaided. He needs catheter care and therefore I won't be able to potty train him. My baby daughter is six months old. She is working on being able to sit unaided. She is good at rolling over. She wishes to crawl but she is not ready to do that yet. She likes to rock about a bit. In her play station she wobbles about. It is safe because she wouldn't be able to fall out of it. She has a play cushion that she rocks about or sits sensibly on it. She became six months on 27th December. She is beginning to eat food.
