i always carry a messenger bag. it has all the things i need to carry around with me. cant go without it for i can not just put it all in my pocket. i have my cellphone, my wallet, i bring along my ipod and my psp to keep me company, extra t-shirt so if i perspire a lot then i can have an extra shirt to use. i bring wipes and hand sanitizer for sometimes (or most of the times har har har) my tummy crumbles and i need to go to the loo. so i need a bag when i go out of the house. some guys dont like bring bag along with them. i do understand that. for sometimes it looks like girlish but i dont care. i carry a messenger bag when ever i go out. its handy too when i bring my son along for it has more space for the things i need to bring for him.

Hi 7thbird, I am happy to share with you that my husband is so secured and comfortable to carry any type of bag...grocery bag, messenger bag, even my own shoulder bag or purse. i always asked him to carry my bag it's quite heavy and he's man enough to help me. that makes him extra special.

it's good to know that you are also comfortable bringing your wife's handbag and other types of bags. you are man enough to feel okay about this. your wife must be happy and lucky having you.

I don't think the messenger bags looks girly at all. They are made in a way that are more masculine and don't look any thing like a woman's purse. I think that they are very practical and come in handy..especially when you have your little partner with you.

har har har, though some said that messenger bags looks like women shoulder bags. yes i agree that it is very practical. i can put all the things i need inside and i have free hands to hold my wife in one hand and my child at the other. thanks a lot for the response and enjoy your weekend.

well to be honest I wouldn't care about carrying a bag if I had too, but I don't carry much about I have my iphone which is also my ipod, I don't carry cash and dont have a wallet as don't have the need for one as don't have any credit cards lol, so all I carry with me is my phone and my debit card, if am taking my kids out then am usually in car so just leave their stuff in the boot but I would carry a bag if I ever needed too.

My man and I are both welling and do carry bags when needed. When my fiance leaves in the morning for work his bag is packed. lunch, umbrella antacids, bus schedules, gloves, socks and such. I check that bag every morning to make sure nothing is forgotten. He use to never carry a bag,but he has found he is hand free then and can carry his morning coffee with him. That made him a bag carrier for life. LOL can take everything he needs and still have his java that's the life.

i agree, it is important that your hands are free and all the things that you need to carry with your hands place it inside the bag. i have free hands to hold my wife's hand and my sons hand as well. if i go out alone i have free hands to carry my coffee and a sandwich while walking and yes that is life. thanks a lot for the response

I think in NYC (where I live) bags for men are a given. I think this is because we don't have cars that we leave in nearby parking lots. We take the subway. Bags are like how people elsewhere in America use their cars!

Hi, My husband is very different from you. He never thinks about bringing along a bag with him with all the necessary stuffs. I am the one who had to think about it, and I always suggest to him about bringing a bag stuffed with things he might need, just in case. In many instances he needed something and luckily I initiated in bringing the things for him, or else he had to be satisfied with what he has on his body. For example, he never brings any comb with him. I know he is always messy especially his hair because it is curly and long. But he never bothered to bring any comb. Then, his face can get oily due to sweat very easily, but he never thought about bringing a face towel. I often bring it for him and put it in the car so whenever the situation happens, the things can save his 'life'. He is always nervous when he discovered his appearance is lousy, and is always grateful when I brought the lifesafers for him, but he will never remember to bring it for himself. That's my husband.

i used to be like that, my wife carries it all for me. for we work together and we are always together. but when she got pregnant she stopped working and after giving birth she decided to be a stay at home mom for our son. from then on i am the one who carried all the things i need. yes i forgot to include that my face is oily as well so i bring towel or wipes. my wife check my bag every once in a while to see if my things are complete.

My hubby is a bag man. And he carries my bag too and our childs bag. When we are out he has three bags on his shoulder and he doesnt mind. He is man enough to carry even my girl bag/shoulder bag. He does not care. Bag are the best thing you need to have specially if you are the type of guy who needs a lot of things to carry around. Good for you that you are also man enough to carry one.
