Mylot is causing me to have De Ja Vu...

For those of you who frenquent other writing sites, and/or discussion forums, have you ever posted a discussion on Mylot, and then went to another site, and one of the first things you see is a topic that is exactly like the topic you just posted about here. Last week I posted a discussion about text messaging and the use of accronyms. Then earlier today I logged in to one of the other sites that I have began writing articles for. One of the first things I see is a debate about the effects of text messaging, and the use of accronyms on proper use of the english language. It was like De Ja Vu for me, but it also became a very easy topic to write my next article for that site, since I started the post here first and have gotten a fairly good response on it. So has this happened to you, and if you do have other writing sites you frequent, how often does Mylot provide you with a source of inspiration to write about something on another site.

Hello, Raven. I don't use any other social networking sites, so I can't comment on that. However, the other main site I use is Helium, and I often find that a discussion on here or a response I make gives me the inspiration for an article. I also find when I'm on Helium, that I come across things that prompt discussions on MyLot, usually when I'm rating. I get a lot of practical advice from the Helium interest here as well. You're comments don't surprise me at all. As writers, we are always looking out for something to hang our next article or story on, and MyLot is a rich source of inspiration.

Hi Sandra, Oddly enough theres another thing we have in common. The site I was referring to that I found that debate question is on Helium. I will be writing an article either today or tomorrow about on the side against text messaging accronyms so you can look out for it and rate it if you like. You'll probably recognize it by the title.

Many times things I have talked about here, or seen disuussed here you will find in other sites talked about as well. Hopefully never word for word like you posted it here, but often times it does inspire more for other articles and such I will talk about elsewhere as well. The only problem for me, is I need to take some time to add some of these to the other sites as well.

it's amazing isn't how our brains connect with each other. sometimes we almost think the same. but i reckon we always have differences. it might be the same idea but the thought of it might not the same. it haven't happened to me before but in some instances i do felt de javu too.
