Pacquiao versus Mayweather

I have read many articles on the subject because for once boxing has caught my attention with the biggest two names in the business being worthy enough to put on a good show. My opinion is I think Paquiao is the one that doesn't want to fight Mayweather. If Pacquiao wasn't taking a suppliment or something then he wouldn't have any problem having his blood drawn which is proven to be a more efficient way of determining what a person is taking. Mayweather has come down on his demands with the blood testing while the Pacquiao side which seemed willing to do a blood test at first decided to change their position once Mayweather lowered the requirments for the testing and said they wouldn't do any blood testing since the Vegas commission didn't require it. Mayweather is arrogant and boastful but I think he is more willing to fight Pacquiao than the Pac-man is. Lets face it who has more to lose. People will understand if Mayweather loses since he came out of retirement. Pacquiao on the other hand could lose much more. Pacquiao is the national pride and plans on running for one of the offices in his country. Imagine if Pacquiao lost, how would that affect his chances of becoming elected? I just think the pressure is on Pacquiao. He is the number one fighter out there right now and has more to lose. I think Pacquiao needs to step up and do the tests. If he isn't on any type of enhancers then he has nothing to worry about! Remember too, Mayweather also agreed to the same style testing to so he has to deal with the same thing that Pacquiao does. I don't see how that affects one person more than the other when the same thing is happening to both of them.

For me, this fight will never be happen because Mayweather was really scared of Pacquiao that's why he always acuse Pacquiao. Which is a sign of weakness! A real fighter fight no matter what happen. If I'm in the situation of Mayweather I will please and push to fight with Pacquiao because the most important is the experience of fighting not the belt of winning. I hope you get my point. All in altl, for me if Mayweather continue hiding the match is already over and Filipino blood line wins again!

I'd have to agree with you on that. Mayweather is all words man. He keeps on boasting that he's the best and will challenge any boxer, but what now? he makes lame excuses so he won't be able to fight Pacquiao. He should've just kept his mouth shut. No body should talk if he can't walk the talk. We were already excited to see this match cause Mayweather was so full of himself and i couldn't wait to see Pacquiao beat him to a pulp, lol, and prove him wrong. But now that he's backing up, it was such a disappointment. I just wish someone could teach Mayweather a lesson to keep his mouth shut, lol. Anyway, maybe he's too sure that Manny will beat him so he backed down so he won't hurt his rep. But all in all, I think it would've been one fight i wouldn't miss for anything :)

I agree, Mayweather is just fooling around and giving false hope on the supposedly fight. He thinks that he rather stay in his place than end his boxing career. He is afraid of Pacquiao that is sure. What can we expect in some boxing fighter champions? It is part of their being boastful and arrogant. Their life is at risk also. Both of them have weaknesses, Mayweather fear to loose his career when he fights with Pacquiao. Pacquiao has weaknesses in women that is why he has many controversial issues.

I do believe that this fight will happen in the near future. Perfect opposites are the ingredients of a classic fight. Hero vs villain, good vs bad. I'm not on Mayweather's side but honestly, I think Mayweather has the edge if ever the fight comes into fruition. Mayweather may be a boring boxer but he knows his craft and knows how to utilize his advantages.

Totally agree with you on that one. Mayweather is just a show off! He's just afraid of his face getting pounded by Manny. No one has ever did it to him, but Manny will 100% sure!

I think May weather is making some reasons to make the Mayweather vs Pacquiao wont happen because it is so clear that he cant win over pacquiao and he is so afraid of him .Look why should he want the blood testing in the near of the fight it may be 48 hours before the fight.it is because he knows the when pacquiao got that test he would be weaken pacquiao and he got a lot of chance to get win over pacquiao he got some strategy of cheating.I call it cheating because he cant win pacquiao in a fair fight.

hi! nice topic! well im on pacquiao team.. and i agree with you that mayweather is really afraid to hve a match with pacman,, he is making things complicated. and about the medical issues about them.. :)
