I get emails every day asking about copy-writing so I decided to let everyone in on what works best for sales pages, ads, etc. Since it isn't hard to do, almost anyone who can type and knows English can make great sales pages for any product. So here is the first of 7 pages about copy-writing.
Now, Lets get straight to the point?
COPY-WRITING!!!
What is copy-writing and why do you need to know about it ??
Copy-writing is actually about psychology. Using words to convince a person to do what you want them to.
If I asked you to jump off a low bridge into a river you would probably look at me like I was crazy, but if I offered you money and put some people in the river to make sure you didn't drown, then you probably would consider doing it, Right?
Once YOU have mastered this skill your sites will convert like crazy...
Copy-writing is the key that unlocks the door to making sales.
Good copy with a good offer means more cash for you.
Remember the saying from "The Godfather"
"Make them an offer they can't refuse!"
Yes, It really is that simple. In fact I have seengood copy and bad offers that still made many marketers a fortune. Good thing is, it isn't as difficult to learn how to write good copy as you may think.
Always remember that visitors to your site are usually in the market for what you’re selling , why else would they be there? Most people do not just get onto your site by chance, they arrived there because:
• They’ve clicked on one of your ads
• They’ve read your article and clicked on your link
• They’ve read your comment on a forum and clicked on your link
• They’ve found your site in the search engines because they searched for
your site subject (keyword)
• They’ve clicked on some other form of advertising or self promotion
*Or best of all they heard about it through someone else...(Word of mouth advertising)
No matter how they got there, Once they have arrived at your site all you have to do is convince them they’ve made the right decision.
Now before you start doubting your ability, please understand, you don’t have to be a copy-writing expert to make a sales-page, write an ad or make an offer.
But it would help if you understood the basics of writing [i]persuasively.

Build your knowledge and techniques as you learn.
It's rejection free selling...
Copy-writing is best described as “Salesmans spiel in print”. It’s persuasive writing that aims to get someone to do something you want them to do. It could be to buy your product, sign up for your list or click on one of the links on your site, Or jump off the bridge...
Now don’t get afraid about the word “Salesman Spiel”, because unlike a normal salesperson, who must talk a spiel, you never have to face your prospect or say a single word to them. It's all there in your copy for them to read.
You don’t have to put-up with the rejection attached to real face to face selling. Simply because the only way they can reject YOU is if they don’t buy your product, if they don't click on your link or they may even leave your website.
The good thing about copy-writing is, if people aren’t doing what you’re asking them to do you can simply change your copy.
It could be the headline, your benefits or offer, your call to action or even the size of your font(type).
You could simply change these, one at a time, and keep a list of the results.
Did the change make your sales increase? Or decrease? Perhaps you got the same results as before? Keep tweeking until you find the perfect balance. If it's a blog then ask your readers what interest them.
That’s another great thing about having a website/blog, you can change things whenever you want, watch the results, then keep or delete the changes. A simple change to a sites copy could improve conversions by 400%, 500%, even up to 1000%!!
By learning and understand the main principles of copy-writing, marketing becomes much easier and much more effective.
So what are the main principles?
Well, The first is your Headline . . .
Make it one that grabs your readers attention and makes them want to read more..
