Sience man first touched the moon and brought pieces of it back to Earth, scientists have thought that the lunar surface was bone dry.But new oberservations from three different spacecrafts have put this notion to rest with what has been called "unambiguous eveidence" of water across the surface of the moon. The moon remain drier than any desert on Earth ,but the water is said to exist on the moon in very small quantities. One ton of the top layer of the lunar surface would hold about just 32 ounces of water, the scientist saying.we remember that when Apollo astronauts retiurned from the moon 40 years ago, they brought back several samles of lunar rocks. The moon rockes were analyzed for signs of water bound to minerals present in te rocks, while trace amount of water were detected ,these were assumed to be conatamination rom Earth, because the containers the rock came back in had leaked.
'the isotopes of oxygen that exist on the mon are same as that exist on Earth,s0 it was difficult if not imposssible to tell the difference between water from moon and water from earth" said larry Taylor of the univesity of Tennessee,Knoxville, who is a member of one of the NASA -bulit instrument teams for India's Chandrayaan-1 satellite and has studied the mon since the Apollo mission.
Now we can have doubt about this discovery ..cause moon is not far away from the eARTH AND WHY IT TOOK SO LONG TIME TO FIND OUR WATER ON MOON..AND IF NOW SCIENTIST ARE SAYING THAT THERE IS WATER..THEN HOW TO BELIEVE..AND THE WATER WICH WAS NOT FPOUND TO ANY OTHER SATELLITE WAS WONDERFULLY FOUND BY Chandrayaan..for that expidition India spent more then 800 drore rupees..and where is that sateliite now....!

Scientists are already on the job of testifying whether or not there is water on moon. Until they pove it,we have to wait. So far the results of the research have been positive and it can be said that there is every possibility of water on the Moon.

if scientist are confident about water on mars..! which is very much long from moon then why it is difficult to find out water on moon.yet there is no confident in scientist about that water whcih may be in trace..and about Chandrayaan..what i wrote ..for that expedition india spent more then 800 crore rupees, and what happened to that sateliite after expedition ..or just sent the images of water and got disappeared..!

I also heard that news that theres a water in the moon. Honestly, base on my observation of my own eye. I see some dark phase on it especially when it's full moon because you can able to see it clearly. I think the humidty in the moon was really cold that's why it creates a water on it.
