out of Valentine's Day, birthday's, anniversary's? I'm the type of person that like's a little attention but doesn't require a lot on these days. A sweet card and maybe flowers and I'm happy. A kiss and happy whatever...I'm happy. Just a simple recongnition is good enough for me. Someone I use to know use to be the opposite. If she didn't get both her husband got and earful lol. What do you prefer?

I agree with you to a point....I think that the little things make all the difference in a relationship and while, I would not dump someone who forgot a special occasion, if they did not bother to remember any day special to me, I would not feel very important to them. It is more about feeling loved and valued than it is what they get...so if someone special in my life, makes me feel loved and valued everyday...he can forget all the commercial events. However, if it take a man made commercial holiday to get them to think, then they better not forget....although, for me, the relationship would probably be on it's last leg anyway because it is all about the little things to me. Have a great day!

I sort of make a deal out of it... but thats just because i want my partner to feel special on those particular dates etc. I don't mind if i don't get anything, just recognition, even a meal is nice.. just little things. I like very original things though, so even though it doesn't bother me all that much, i'd still prefer maybe to be serenaded to just do something UNIQUE and different.

Valentines - no. Birthdays - sometimes. My family always gets together for birthdays and has a cake and such. If its a BIG birthday like ones 50th birthday then its a Big extended family gathering with all the goodies. Anniversary's not so much...a recognition of it yes... but no big deal about it. Some people makea big deal out of the big ones like the 25th and the 50n which i totally understand but every year...na.

I don't really anymore. On cirtin holidays I'm happy to have George home instead of working. That's enough. I'm alone enough, I don't need nor want any more drama then I've already got. So I take what I can get anymore thease days.
