Some of us love online shopping and usually buy books from e-shops and some of us love buying them from stores. Which is more suitable for you? What do you think?

I browse in the store and then buy online but not by directly going to the website. I use GoodSearch to open the Barnes & Noble site. GoodSearch is awesome because it allows you to pick a charity of choice (I pick Keep A Child Alive) and then when you shop at different online retailers like B&N, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, etc, the online retailer donates a portion of the sale to the charity.

I prefer to buy books offline meaning at bookstores because it's pretty sure though the quality and all plus the fact that I wanna see it before I purchase it. I am quite meticulous on things so shopping at bookstore fits for me but if ever there's an opportunity, why not? I wanna try buying books online but now I'm content with bookstore and besides I enjoyed it because I find some good stuff at bookstore.

Sometimes I buy books from a bookstore and sometimes I buy books online. I love reading and when I visit a bookstore I often find some books that I want to buy When I am looking for a particular book, I often try to find the book online instead of visiting a bookstore. Many of the books that I am interested in have never been translated to Danish, and you can't find them in the Danish shops. If I want to buy the English version of the book I buy it online.

As of now, I buy books at bookstores, since I still can't buy online, and I currently don't have the resources to do so. But when I can afford to do so, I'd like to buy books online. There are some really cheap books and good finds on ebay. What's more interesting is that you can find what you're really looking for in the net.

i like buy some books on bookstore. i think it more efficient because not to wait the book from e-shop.because if you buy from e-shop you must wait until long time. then i think buy from e-shop more expensive because we must pay for shipping cost especially if you buy in other countries.

I usually buy books online unless I am not familiar with that category of books or in the mood of strolling. It's tiring to find books in store and it's becoming less attractive with most books sealed up with plastic cover, let alone online books are cheaper even with freight.

I use the internet. There's a lot of textbooks I have to buy every quarter and with the internet, I could find people selling the used copies at a more reasonable price than I could find at a local bookstore.

In the past I have always bought them at bookstores and thrift shops but recently someone told me how fast and easy it is online so who knows I might try it.

I use both. I like buying in bookstores because I can actually take a look at the book, read a few pages, and I can browse through loads of books. When I'm shopping for books I typically like to be able to see an actual copy of the book before I buy it. However, sometimes I'll read a book from the library and later want a copy of it and will not be able to find it in bookstores. This is where shopping online comes in handy. I typically buy books online when I can't find copies of them anywhere else.

I have to say, I buy from both. I love to browse in a bookstore and browsing is impossible to do online. But I will buy online if I know what I am looking for and the price is right. I have also found that it is easier to find rare and out of print book online. Bookstore tend only to carry books that are "hot" now. Opinions anyone?

Living out in a rural area it is easier to buy books online especially if you find book sites that give you samples to read like ArchimedesPresse. I have read three books from them now, they were delivered quickly and were excellent reads. I tried an ebook reader but there is nothing like the feel of paper, and besides I like collecting books.

I much prefer the convenience of shopping for books online. Usually they are recommended by friends and I already know that I really want to read a certain book. I have also found that you can buy used books for much less and they are in excellent condition. I have had great service as far as receiving them in a short period of time. Usually less than the time the site suggests. It is an easy way to shop for gifts as they are delivered to the persons home, ideal for out of town freinds.
