What are you excited with when you were about to enter your College Life?

What made you excited with College Life? What have you expected and what you haven't? Most people say that the most precious part of your schooling/studies is your "High School Life", do you still agree now that you are in College?
I myself got excited with College Life because of 3 Things. First, COURSE; Second, Unique Schedule; and Third, LOCKERS. Yes. You've read it right. Lockers. I don't know why I got excited with College Life because of Lockers. Hehe.
Since I am currently a first year College, I have no comment yet with the "High School Life" thingy.

In life every where you go or whatever you do there is always one thing that is the first time rule. I was very excited as well as frightened as to what might happen with me . There were ifs and but at that particular point of time. As such i got rum ours from my elders as their would be ragging in the college but along with it i made new friends came to know about the different environment that existed over there. Theres a huge difference between both as such that in school life there are restrictions as not such in college life.

In which college your studying ,which subject are you studying in 1 year? Are you that busy i will come to know by knowing about your subjects.? How was the 1 day of your college life , any funny incident that had happened with you?

Actually, I'm from Philippines. The name of the university that I am now attending is Holy Angel University.
I'm currently taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management, and since I am currently a First Year Student, we have these "ACADEMIC" subjects first like English, Filipino, Anthropology, Mathematics of Investment, Psychology, Logic, and lots more.
By the time I am Second Year in that particular course, we would have Cooking, Bar Tending, Managing and Clerking related subjects.
Third Year and Fourth Year would concentrate to MAJOR course-related things. We would also have tours locally and internationally.
It is really tiring but at the same time I enjoy it.
Well, on my First Day of class on that University, I have experienced being laughed about by a class because I accidentally entered their room, it was the room of my second period/subject, I thought I was late that's why I entered it. Unfortunately, I was too early for my second subject and I somehow got embarrassed. xD
Luckily, the professor on that particular room taught me how to read, analyze, and follow my class schedule.
That First Day of my College Life really s*cked. xD

I somehow agree. College would go much difficult compared with High School. This is also true with new people.
As of now, I am a First Year College Student. I'm doing fine with my studies and with my grades.
My only problem with College Life is that its too busy... Sometimes it would obligate you to wake up almost 5 in the morning just to attend a practice/rehearsal about a subject activity.
