Do You Find All Babies Cute?

I was an ugly baby. Still, my parents loved me. Because they had no other choice. Parents will always see their babies as cute. But what about other people? If I see a baby, I can tell if it is cute or not. Of course I have the decency not to tell the parents that they have an ugly baby, but I wouldn't tell them that their baby is cute either. I would just not comment. But you will often hear people saying "aaawww your baby is so cute.." eventhough you know that they are lying through their teeth. Am I the only person like this? I love babies, I just couldn't lie to them.

i think thats rude because they are too small and thats not there fault that they are ugly that is because God as done him that so what you think live it to you and never say to any parent like that they feel it.

I'm always careful not to say it to anyone's face. You know better than to lie to yourself. So I just call it as I see it. I'm not blaming anybody

Don't worry, I feel very similar. I find babies cute because of the things they do, as well as the way they look. So if I see a baby cooing at their mom or dad I find it cute - I can say "Aww, how cute!" even if the baby looks ugly. My cousin gave birth to her first baby, a boy, two years ago. It was ugly. I mean, it looked like it had the face of an 80 year old man - wrinkles, spots, droopy eyes, etc. It just wasn't what you'd expect a baby to look like. Everyone else in the family was saying how adorable he was to her face, but behind her back was saying how ugly it was. She asked what I thought about him [since I'd been quiet up until then] and I didn't want to lie. Luckily as I was about to tell the truth, the little boy gurgled and clapped his hands. I found that to be cute, so I could say "Awww" without feeling like it was a lie. Off topic, she later had another boy [just recently] and it was adorable in looks - one of the cutest babies I've seen in a while, and I'm not lying when I tell her how cute he is. =]

I forgot to add that her first little boy is now 2, almost 3, and he now looks cuter than a button! It's like his face finally transformed to reveal is real age! So I don't have to lie or hurt anyone's feelings about him anymore, either.

Honestly? No, I don't. Though like you, I keep it to myself and not say anything at all.
This reminds me of a time my youngest had to be hospitalized when he was just a baby. One of the nurses (?) there made a comment saying how cute he was. Then she continued to say how not all babies are cute. Some are downright ugly! I was shocked that she'd say that to me, or to anyone for that matter. It also made me wonder if she was telling me the truth about my own baby, or if she was just saying it to be nice. I ended up blowing it off though, because her comment didn't mean anything if she was willing to say something like that. Plus, I know the truth anyway. Both my kids were (and still are) cute when they were babies and I'm not just saying that because I'm their mother! LOL
Happy mylotting!

I think all babies are cute. I can not wait to start having a family of my own. I know my cousin had a baby two weeks before Christmas and he is the cutest. I saw him Christmas Eve and he is so good. He only fussed once and that was because he was hungry. I got to hold him and read him a story.

I personally think that some babies are just plain ugly. and it is sad to say because normally they cute as a button.
