tubal ligation

i'm pregnant for my third baby, my obegyne advise me that after i gave birth, it would be better that i will undergo tubal ligation since i already had two caesarean deliveries in the past and when i gave birth by july, another caesarean again. any idea how it works? my doctor explained that to me, but i would like to know more from those already undergone it. atleast they could share to me their true to life experiences having that thing....how do you feel about it?

I have had three caesarean deliveries and they are no picnic. As for the tubal surgery I have heard from a couple of people that they have more painful periods now. I had my husband get a vasectomy. After all you have gone through enough to have your family. A vasectomy was less painful than some dentist visits according to my husband. I've seen women have discomfort for a couple of weeks after a tubal.
