were you awkard when you met the problems of electrostatic in winter?

As we all know, clothes friction would produce electrostatic in winter.
I met such a problem. Once, a female colleague pass me things, "pa pa", we were shocked. other colleagues watched me and want to know what it is happened. On another occasion, my colleague tested a circuit, one capacitor was broken due to electrostatic.

I have this problem so bad that now I use my sleeve end to touch anything that might shock me. I actually knocked out the thermostat when I touched it and it shocked me. Had to reset the whole thing. Every time I pet my cats I get shocked and answer the phone or turn on a light.

I always meet this trouble in winter. Our office is extremely dry with the heating system and I am always too busy to forgot to drink enough water. My body is full of electrostatic, my hair flows and everything I touch will make a sound :(

In winter, office and house really very dry, you need to install humidifiers, it would be better, drink water more, take good care of yourself. :)

Well this hapens to all people. That is nothing to worry about. I also have a metal door in my home and I have a history of electric charges which I have got through that door for many times at a specific period...generally during evenings. But the shock is lasting for a very less amount of time..hardly a econd. But if it lasts more then it has to be harmful. These shocks are noot harmful. Don't worry.

In daily life, they have a little harm, but it is very dangerous in airport, coal mine and on the operating table of hospital.
