Do You Type Silently On Your Keyboard?

I've been using the computer for the past 15 years so typing on the keyboard has become natural for me. My co-worker always complains that I type loudly on the keyboard. And I especially have the habit of pressing the enter key with an extra force. I just can't help it, I can't type fast and keep it silent at the same time. Do you type silently?

Well let me see. Nope, I didn't think I did, but wanted to make sure. I can't type fast and silently at the same time either. Now I have said "shh" to my husband for typing so loudly, but now I realize I do the same thing. I don't know why, but typing with any faster pace and loudly just go hand in hand. I suppose it is the force of which we type, the enter key does seem to be the one key that is used with much more force, as the enter key can mean "done" or "next line please"... lol you know what I mean.

I know what you mean, my enter key probably takes the most beating out of all the keys in my keyboard. I particularly raise my hand a little bit higher and give the enter key a loud thud.

I type silently on my keyboard. And I cant see why other peole type noisily? Specially when they are with other people who's also using their computer. I type silently at the same time faster since I have this thinking that I dont want to disturb others. Thats always been me, a silent killer LOL.

Yes, I do! Just because I have a laptop and I don't think it is very good to hit hard the buttons, because everything inside can go out!

I type loudly while my husband types quietly. I also type one handed and usually with one finger. I have tried typing with two hands and for me it is difficult. My mom on the other hand types loudly and she types two handed. Everyone has skills they are good at while others have skills they are bad at.

I think it really depends on what type of PC or laptop you're having. I'm using a Sony Vaio, and it types naturally loudly compared to a Mackbook or any other notebook.
