Does this annoy anyone else????

The earnings here update once EVERY 24 hours. If you were active yesterday then you will see your earnings update in around 5-7 hours from now. If you posted nothing then you will not see any earnings. Remember that a day here is a 24 hour period in myLot's time zone and not the area where you are located.

I am new to myLot too..started interacting here last december. I noticed they don't easily post what u have earned.Maybe its because they still check all the activities u have done. So far, i get all the credits for the discussions i made and all the responses to discussions. I have no complaint so far. The earnings usually shows up a day or two days.

I don't mind that the earnings only update daily. They do update daily, every 24 hours as someone stated, but of course that is not instantly. I would prefer to have at least an update every 12 hours, but oh well. It's not that big of a deal to me. I'm not incredibly active on MyLot, so I usually only earn a dime a day or a quarter a day (occasionally more) when I post here, so it's not like I will be seeing a huge increase!

Welcome to mylot! Well, earnings update every 24 hours. It could be earlier or late sometimes. I know you are used to other sites where earnings are updated after each post. Those kind have an exact amount per post unlike in here where participation earnings depends on quality. All of our posts are reviewed and calculated before it is added to our earnings. Earnings may fluctuate, as stated on earnings section, participation earnings are estimated and subject to changes until payment is made. The posts will be reviewed again and could be the cause of fluctuation of earnings. Deletion of a post causes the earnings to decrease so try to read the guidelines to avoid violations and having deleted posts. Have a nice day!

that is really annoying. You just have to wait patiently. Maybe there are some technical problems or whatever... anyways, isn't it nice to just post topics here? and communicate with everyone?

i too new ti mylot but i know that in mylot the earnnigs are going to be updated for every 24hrs so dont get worried ur earnings will be updated every 24 hrs.

I'm afraid that you will just have to get used to the way the site works and curb your impatience. There is a 24 hour delay in updating the earnings because MyLot use a complicated algorithm that takes many things into account. If they just paid a set amount per post perhaps it would be different but that is not the way it works here. We aren't allowed to make suppositions about the exact nature of the algorithm (to see why, read the Guiidelines) but we DO know that it takes the QUALITY of a response, comment or discussion into account and that the Discussion Rating System is also factored in. In other words, your participation has to be evaluated based on what you post and how other users rate it. That takes time and it's a continuous process that is updated many times over the month so you will frequently see your earnings change up or down by small amounts until the end of the month. The reason for this is explained in the FAQs. OK, that's the boring bit (except that it shouldn't be too much!) ... the main object is to have fun participating, make new friends on the way and learn something new. In a while you will find that the earnings are more of a bonus than the reason for being here.

I have only just returned to mylot recently after a long break. Like many sites of this kind to receive earnings the effort required means other things suffer. I'm not sure it will have improved any since I last used it but I intend to try to be much more active for a set period of time to see what the resutls are. If it is as poor as before I will most likely close my account.

Agreed that MYLOT updates the income every 24 hours. Buit that does not bothers me as long as it updates everything correctly for all my hard work. Some days we see a very few amount updated where as some other days we have a lot of amount which makes us wonder. There are other programmes that updates the earning instantly. But every site has it's advantages and disadventages. we have to bear that.

it is updated every day you just have to watch for when and it does not bother me as I am very active so will see the change sooner or later during the day. In fact its sort of a nice 'surprise to see it has enlarged nicely from yesterday. I do not let little things annoy me as have had enough big bad things in my life lately so need peace not annoyance the rest of the time. One can choose not to be stressed from something and thats the way I take it,so no it does not annoy me at all. as I said it is updated daily but not early morning. so get on here by noon and it should be updated.
