I know there is alot of snow areond the UK at the moement which is what has prompted this discussion. I was wondering whether or not people like the snow or if they get fed up of it??
I'm personally not a huge fan of the snow but that is because I had a really slip on some steps and hurt my back earlier this year. This has kind of put me off going outside in thesnow especially on steps. However I do loveseeing the snow from inside a house and watching the snow fall and all the usual things like that!
So what is everyone's view on snow????

I think snow is nice to watch fall slowly down onto the ground. But I don't really like to shovel it because later on my back will just start aching. I don't like how the snow melts and then forms ice and then I have to watch out for icy patches on the ground so I don't slip and fall down.

I love the snow. It's the cold and the ice that comes with it I don't like so much!
I like the view from my window or in the park of the trees and hillsides all covered in the pretty white stuff. I like to see the children making snowmen and having fun.
I don't like the ice under my feet, and the fact that my toes are currently so cold I am wondering if they have left the room.

I think that the snow is beautiful to look at, however; I do not like having to drive in it, nor do I really like the cold that comes along with it. This year's snowfall, here anyway, has been more than enough at close to 30 inches. The frigidly cold weather we have had makes me want to hibernate!!

HI! I love snow. And I can't wait till winter, so that I can play and walk in it again. But this year there was snow for only two weeks, and I think it is not fair. MAny people from other countries are so lucky to have snow for at least a month. I still remember the old days, when there was so much snow, that I couldn't go out without a shovel and high boots. I was playing with my friends in snow, and everything was so wonderful. Snow means to me, innocence and pureness of the nature. It is maybe the biggest wonder of the nature.

When I was a little boy in Puerto Rico I remember seeing a postcard of the Manhattan skyline made all the more beautiful as it was covered in snow. I couldn't wait to get to New York. I got here and finally experienced my first snowfall. It was amazing. Me and my brothers and sisters played in the snow and had a great time. Little did I know that the good times would be short lived. As the days progressed the snow turned to a brown slush. Ice and brown slush every where. There were many more first day of snow moments and great times playing in it. But now that I'm nearing my sixties and too tired to play in it I reserve my joys to watching the snow dappled trees from my window.

I live in the South West and it doesn't usually snow here. My home is situated on the edge of a coastal town. There is snow on the ground and the roads are icy. I have been stuck at home since Wednesday. I have a baby girl and a toddler boy. They are getting bored staying at home. My teenage son doesn't mind but his school has been closed due to the snow. I wonder when the snow will go. Snow looks picturesque and in a country like Switzerland it is great. Here in the UK we don't know how to cope with snow transport wise.

Snow's good for Christmas cards and nothing else in my book. This week's been particularly bad. I live near the bottom of a hill, with only one exit - uphill. The snow caught me by surprise, and my car's been snowed in since Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I had to take two buses into work - three hours to get into work in the mornings and three and a half hours coming back! I just spent several hours this afternoon digging the snow and ice out of the road so I could move my car up to the top of the hill, so at least I'll be able to get around.
