Have you seen Avatar??

Yes, I have seen it but if you want a lot of story behind the 3D effects I'm not sure I'd recommend it :-) I really liked the 3D effects, but in my opinion the story was quite thin and none of the caracthers ever did anything surprising. It is a beautiful film though, Pandora looks great and realistic enough to believe that it actually exists somewhere.

I used to feel that way when I saw the clips of Avatar. I was thinking that it will just be another "War of the Worlds" or "The Day the Earth Stood Still". But during Christmas vacation out of having anything better to do I was finally convinced by my sister to watch the movie. Well I think the message of the movie is more than the usual alien vs. human. For a change it is the humans who are trying to invade the alien. But there is something deeper to this. Humans are so greedy that they were ready to destroy a planet just to gain wealth. They are willing to destroy lives, ties, traditions and nature just to satisfy their greed. James Cameron presented the message of SAVE OUR PLANET in this movie. It shows how human are so heartless to not care what they are doing to their environment.

I have not seen this movie yet. When I heard the name was Avatar I thought about the Avatar on Nickoloen and it was not the same thing. It was something different and the commercial makes it look really out of this world. I think it might be good cause it relates to war between worlds. Which is something that is going on right now. Only different is it's on another planet. It might be good and I'm not sure that I will go to the movies to go and see it. I might wait for it to come out on dvd. That is what i have done with most movies that have come out in the last few years. Wait for it to come out on dvd instead of going to the movies.

NO, I haven't, but I wan tot. I wanted to download the movie but it was with poor quality! SO is it good?
