How many people go to the movies to see new ones that come out? / myLot

With all of the new movies that have come out in the last few years. How many people actually go to the movies to see them? With in two months of a movie coming out it comes out on dvd. Or either it's on the internet to watch even before it comes out in the movies. So which do you prefer going to the movies, waiting for it to come out on dvd or watching it on the internet?

I wait on it to come out on DVD, as I cannot afford to take my family to the movies. My money is needed other places.

I can understand that, the price that you spend going to the movies is close to the same price of what the movie will cost on dvd when it comes out.

when i was a teen i went to the movies a few times on opening day or first week but now its just too expensive and with so many BAD movies out there i dont want to risk my money lately lol
