Are you a bargain type of shopper? Do you feel embarrased to shop at a good will store? Or do you not care what people think as of where you shop? When you go to a thrift store do yo spend a lot of time and money in there? Do you buy clothes or other items such as maybe things for your kitchen, hose, etc.?

I shop at thrift stores a ll the time.. I can't see spending $20-$30 or more on a pair of pants when I can get them for about $5. Often I get items that still have a tag on them and have never been worn or hardly worn at all.
The items I may buy at a regular store -like walmart.. I will still only buy when they are on the clearance rack. I never spend more than a few dollars for items never more than $10.
I also buy some items at closeout stores. we have one here called ocean state Job lot and they often have sweats and clothes very cheap again I never spend more than $8 on something new from here.
All other thing I need if I don't get them from walmart.
I order online and go through BigCrumbs to save more money and get cash back into my paypal to use for the next shopping spree.

I agree why spend more when you don't have to? I love thrift stores! And I like when wal mart has sales too!

I'll always go for a bargain. The only "labels" I go for are the ones that say "reduced to clear". When I last went to the supermarket the checkout lady said ," How have you got all that for £26 ??" I had all my groceries, 2 wooden kitchen stools and a gym ball. Someone admired my gloves at a party and I said I'd paid 99pence for them in the charity shop. They replied "Oooo, you should have said you'd paid £10 in a designer shop.." Why?? I dont want to appear that stupid!!

I never shop at thrift sores, except for books. Its not that I am embarrassed, but its a quality issue. If someone has given their items away, then it probably means there is something wrong with them. In my case, from the four items I have bought, two of them lasted for a day or so.

I love shopping at charity thrift stores, in fact I have bought designer clothes and shoes for a mere few dollars! I don’t have very much money for luxuries and these types of stores not only permit me to have nice things for a dollar or two but the money that I do spend goes to a great cause. I am not embarrassed at all if I am seen shopping there; it’s my money and we work hard for it and it is up to us to decide how we spend and make the most of it. As far as bargains go, I am always on the lookout for a sale, that’s for sure!

I'm a practical shopper because it feels great if you spend your income wisely. I feel fulfilled when I buy a good deal of goods. I don't care if the goods I buy are cheap, first hand, second hand or discounted. I care more about the functionality of the item that I buy. I don't wanna buy something very expensive that I will just hang in my closet or allow dust to cover it in a corner.
Most of all, I feel great if I shop something nice and classy at a cheap price and many people like it. AFter all, some merchandise are of the same quality but shops that pay a lot of rent or taxes charge more. Why pay more when you can spend less?
It's pays to be a wise consumer. ^.^

I dont care what other people would say and think. All I care is I can save money by going to a bargain. I buy different things from clothes, kitchen wares, bathroom decorations and etc.

I shop at thrift stores as much as possible. I don't see anything wrong with saving a few bucks here and there especially with the economy they way it is right now, and it helps out the programs that they run so your not only saving your also helping out no matter how small the amount may be.

I shop at the local thrift stores. We have a store called Deserret Industries which is runned by the Mormon Church. The money goes to the church to help other people who are in need. I also shop at the Salvation Army because the proceeds goes towards those who need help. I do not care what other people say. I feel that helping others out is a great cause. I will buy clothes, books and sometimes furniture depending on the quality. Once I did buy pots and pans there.
I also donate items myself. I remember when my mother in law had passed away I had donated some of her clothes. I also donated a blanket that she had bought, but never used.
