Spelling Errors

How do you feel about signing up for online programs that you are hoping to make money from that have spelling errors in basic communication such as e-mail, on the home page, in the terms of service, etc.? Does it make you think twice about investing your time &/or money in that opportunity? I am talking about everything from traffic exchanges, PTC, GPT, HYIP, etc.
Honestly, I will do a little more investigating (beyond my usual to see if it seems like a legit opportunity) to see if I can figure out if English is the owner's first language or not. Or if it is, is it just a different spelling of the word?

I usually stay clear out of online programs that have spelling errors on them. In my experience they are the ones that doesn't last long. Since I do not do much time investing in research, if the website looks clean, graphics okay... I wait around after 3 months before joining. Also, having a black background is no-no to me.. I do not join sites with black background.
Sometimes spelling errors cannot be helped but I choose the ones with less spelling errors.. Too many errors and I lose interest in the site.

personally if a website or email has spelling errors on it then I stay well clear.
If someone wants you to join then they can at least look professional spelling mistakes do not look professional and if someone can't spend the time to make sure the mistakes are zero then they are not going to spend the time helping you.
So I will always stay well clear.

Like I said, the spelling errors prompt me to dig a little further, but I do not discount them completely right away. In this age of technology, we live in a very small world and I don't expect everyone to have the best spelling and grammar especially if English is not their first language.

well there is no excuse to me even if english isn't their first language there are a lot of language converters out there which translate the sites very accurately I use a few for the sites that I have and target area's like china holland etc etc
there are also numerous spell checkers.
To have spelling mistakes on a web site or e-mail is a huge no no to me and I just delete.

communication is complete when we say or write it clearly.

There are many things in today's writings that irritate me. I wonder if grammar teachers teach their students the difference between the nominative and objective pronouns and that you're suppose to use the objective pronoun after a preposition. I also wonder if writers understand what a complete sentence is. It also irritates me when online programs do "cutesy" things like putting a . in the middle of a word. The incorrect spelling doesn't bother me as much as it should because I'm a poor speller. For some reason I just don't hear the correct pronunciation of some words which makes it hard to spell those words correctly or to look them up in the dictionary.

You make a great point about what the teachers are teaching. I also have to wonder just how much slang actually influences each of us. Most of us are exposed to slang more often throughout our days than not.

If I'm going to invest my tie and money in a certain website, I make it a point to investigate their legitimacy and observe their professional aura.
If I notice some grammatical errors, I may feel doubtful with the website and think twice on joining their program.

I agree with you about the professional aura and that is why I always investigate a little further.

I think that's not a problem. If you want to invest your money in such websites, the most important thing that matters is that it's not a scam. Or you'll be regretting what you've done.
