And if you have how did you feel when you realise you were? Would you avoid responding to this persons discussions or would you be mature about it and respect the persons right not to accept .I must say I dont remember being rejsected but then I dont really send many friend request nor do I keep up with them.Back when I used to send out many request, there were a few that toook long to respond but everyone responded favourably . What about you, ever been rejected ?

I have long forgotten about it feels as I no longer initiate any friend request. I would just accept any friends that come along as I respond via email notifications. Why disappoint anyone who wants to be a friend.

Hello ronnyb, I seldom send friend request and as far as I can remember, I have never got rejected. I did once, making someone here waiting for quite long for me to accept and at the end, he decided to cancel the request. I have my own reason for doing so as I mentioned in one of my discussions before. Whenever I receive friend request, I will add them to my list without even checking the profile.

i don't really know if i have been rejected. being friends for the most part just makes it easier to respond to topics here. so the if someone doesn't want to be my friend that's fine. there are so many people here to make money with one person doesn't stop that

Hi ronny. Yep, I'm pretty sure I've been rejected before. I don't worry about it though. If the ones that rejected my request for friendship don't want me on their friends list then it's their loss! Just kidding! LOL In all seriousness though I don't hold it against them at all. I'll still respond to their discussions, that is if I can find them, so long as they catch my interest. Happy mylotting!

I am not sure if I have ever been rejected, I don’t think so but I did make a request once that stayed unanswered for months; it was neither here nor there, it just sat unanswered until I decided to delete it myself. I guess we can only extend the request and is up to the recipient. I would not be all that upset if it happened; I have many good friends here and that is enough for me!

I request friends sometimes they get back and sometimes they don't .I discovered one thing today, new friends don't always come through in order,as I went through my friends like I sometimes do,I noticed some not notified ones.Well these friends are new ones but they were stuck back three pages,so maybe you have not been turned down check back like me.I found six spread through all the pages which I have accepted they must have thought I was really rude.I think they must be mad if they turn you down, more of you for anti and me to share between us.xx

I really can't remember if I've been rejected or not, but I have rejected a number of requests myself. I have found over the years that I prefer to have older people, like myself, as friends, because they discuss topics more relevant to me. I have nothing in common with a 16-year-old boy from India, for example. I like to respond to my friends' discussions, and I don't feel I can do a good job of that if the topics are foreign to me.

Yes I have . Plus I have been dropped from a friends list too. At the time I said to myself . " Oh Well." And went on with my friends I already have. I think I was dropped from a friends list because she and I had differ views. So it was better to be dropped than bump heads all the time.

I have only made two, so no I haven't been rejected. And I am very thankful that my first one, not only accepted, but has gone out of her way to help me through the rookie phase of mistakes.

I don't send friend requests on myLot. I have not found an advantage to having friends, either in real life or on myLot. For this reason I have never been rejected. If someone requests that they be my friend, I take the easy way out and add them. That makes me their friend, but it does not make them my friend. I can't help being amused by all the posts about friends who are not really friends!

Do they actually tell you that you've been rejected? I have not rejected any friends request from this site. I havent sent out many either. On other sites i reject about 1/2 of the request. I dont know if i was rejected there.

ronnyb When I first got started with mylot, I got rejected because I was a new user and didn't have any discussions responded too or started on my own. I think rejection is partially apart of life. Its a character building method if it is used correctly that is. Some folks will consider it to be a matter of the other person being rude or whatever. Some folks will consider it to be the other person may or may not be having a good day or some sort. Now that I've been here on mylot for little over a year, I don't send that many friend requests. I do continue to accept all friend requests, and simply delete the ones that send me offers to sign up at such and such site, without having tried to start some sort of repoor with me first.

I rarely send friend request now days and so far i've get are lot of invitation to add them to be my friend which i gladly accepted as i believe the more the merrier. I never rejected anyone as i know the feeling of being rejected and being snob is not a good experience. Their are some lotters who have so much pride and very boastful that they think some friend invites them to spam or spying on them. anyway, even one have less friends if they would response on your discussion they would do so. But the advantages of having more friends many would response as they see your name in their friend tab in particular. so it is up to the receiver if she/he refuse as everyone have their own reasons so i respect them and never try to send anymore invitation as their is no use to send invitation when they snob you. Aside from it their are many good, friendly, understanding and kind people here who have no pride as tall as the Mt. Everest and they are the one whom i am glad to see in my discussion as they have no personal grudge.

hi ron, how are you? No, i can`t recall anybody ever rejecting me.If anybody does i would not feel bad since i have a large number of friends even though many don`t start discussions. I too don`t start many discussions and i prefer to answer them. However whenever i have started discussions i get very few responses from friends though in a coulple of cases i did get quite godd responses and many of them weren`t friends. Ofcourse i promptly requested friendship and was rewarded with a yes.

I cannot say I have been rejected because I don't think I have sent out that much friend request. If I know that I was deliberately rejected I may feel a little bit disappointed and I may even ignore the responses for a while. I can't actually say what my response would be at the moment.

As far as I am concerned, I seldom request a friend. I usually agree with my freinds' requests. I think they are my freinds. I need to help them as far as I can do to do what I can. I think may be sometime I will need my friend's help . So I agree to their requests.
