the long and the short of it...

you're never too old for long hair,i like to see old ladies with long grey hair tied in a plait,that's how i want mine when i'm old,as for the purple,i'm not sure,i used to dye my hair all manner of colours a few years ago,i've had red,purple,pink,dark brown and green,i'm 32 now and i've stopped dying my hair as i don't think it suits me anymore,my dad on the other hand is 56 and still dyes his red or purple from time to time

Hi witchywillow. When do they get too old to have long hair. Imo, never! My mother-in-law is Amish-Mennonite and she has mighty long hair. Of course, she wears them up and underneath her devotional covering. But I have seen them down for washing. The reach to her hips.

Hi witchywillow,When I was a kid growing up, my mom who was a hairdresser always told me that once I hit 30 that I'd have to cut my hair. I have always worn it long. I did not cut my hair at 30 nor at 40. I finally cut my hair when I was about 48 but even then I did not cut it all short. It is shoulder length and layered. I'm 53 and have no intention of cutting it all off and poodling it any time soon. At 34, I say that you don't even need to think about it. It's all a matter of personal preference.

hi witchywillow purple hair sounds pretty as purple is my favorite color. I am 83 and my best friend Nelda thinks I am ' awful as I wear my white blonde hair to my shoulders, long hair, with bangs, b ut I got several complements today for my hair so now I dont know. I like it long, I look fat faced with short hair, and who needs that. my son doesnt seem to mind seeing his mom in long hair. my hubbyliked my hair long too.

Hi witchywillow, I have had my hair long till I was a lot older and now I have it short, I used to put my hair up all the time, but just got fed up with it and got it all cut off, don't miss having long hair though. Tamara
