I'm going to bed in a minutes and was just thinking about one last post in mylot. That's why I want to ask you about your sleeping - nightmares and other stuff. I'm sleeping well, but sometimes I have problems - no nightmares, no such things . . . Just feeling that I don't sleep deep enough to say the next day " I rested " Do you have problems with sleeping? Feel free to share your nightmares too, if any ! Greetings! I'm going to sleep now :) Tomorrow I'll be able to tell you how was it :)

...Hi there stand87, Welcome to the ranch, it's fun here. Happy 2010. Well, as you get older you will find that you need less sleep. Also that you are able to function with less sleep. But I do think you mske a good point, it needs to be quality sleep to feel rested enough. I am a night owl, I love to work in the wee hours of the dark a.m. It's quiet, and peaceful. You might want to try something called Chamomile tea, it is a herbal blend. Drink a couple of cups just before you retire. It totally relaxes you, and may make a difference in your sleep pattern. You should be able to find the tea at any supermarket. Good luck as you try to find the sandman. "o) Take care.

...Hi stand87, You are welcome, I hope it works for you. If you are a singer, that certainly means, I would think, that you body needs complete relaxation, so that your vocal chords can be replenished in a way. They are working harder than say your arms are, and they need that sound sleep. A good throat cream from the health food store might be good for you as well, something that soothes from the outside inward. See, if you would, if there is such an animal :o). Take it easy.

Hi, artistry! Thanks for being nice and sharing this Chamomile tea information with me! I agree with you that it needs to be quality sleep to be rested enough. Maybe you're right that I'll need less sleep while I'm getting older. But I'm a singer - I find that when I don't sleep at least 7 hours my voice is not in the same condition. The sleeping seems to be more important than anything for the voice.

First of all if I eat right before I go to bed I'll have for sure nightmares. I once have fallen asleep with my eyes opened it was a nice experience, but never intened to... just happened while trying to fall asleep with my TV opened. Also I have some odd experiences mum said that once I came to her bed sleeping and asking her where's the bathroom, but I didn't wait for an answer and just went in the wardrobe, but I wasn't able to find anything except for a lot of clothes and that's when my mum came to me and lead me to the bathroom and after that to my bed... The funny part is that I don't remember doing it :))

Eating right before going to bed is bad for health. And the nightmares in this case are usual. About your sleepwalking experience - very fun story :) I'm a sleepwalker too! I use to talk weird thing asleep - talking about something that will come or just asking stupid things without any logic. Sometimes I'm searching things without any purpose:) Going to somebody's room to search a cable at 3-4 AM :) What I'm going to do with it? And the cable's not even there :)

:)) I once woke up in the living room, but I know for sure that I have fallen asleep in my bedroom xD Also do dreams come true to you? I have to say that for they do, one month ago I dreamed about mum and her friend talking about a new recipe and like 3 days ago, they were in the kitchen talking about it :| I was like ''I know this from somewhere''

I've had trouble sleeping last night because of backpains. There is a lot of snow and ice on the roads here in Holland at the time being, and when I came back from grocery shopping I slipped and feel down on my lower back. It hurt a lot and once I was able to stand up I realized that I had made one nasty fall. The pain kept me awake last night, making matters even worse. I hope the pain will ease off sometime soon, otherwise I'd best see a doctor I guess..

I wish you all the best as well and I hope you have a better rest tonight. I might be dreaming tonight as I am very anxious about tomorrow. That's because tomorrow I will be starting at my new job which is very exciting. A lot of the time when I am excited I will dream about the subject I am excited about. If I do dream I will let you know! All the best.

i always go to bed late, at least after 11pm. but i must say most of my sleeping are well. only sometimes cant fall asleep until after midnight. i found if u have phones before sleeping, then u cant sleep well as usual, at least it's more difficult to fall asleep. so, i do my best to calm down before sleeping, then can fall asleep easily and well.

Hm, very interesting, yolanda! I didn't know about this phone things. But it's logical, yes! Unfortunately I don't use my phone for long time. I just don't like phone talking when I want to discuss something. I use my phone just for having a date or informing somebody about something. I prefer internet and live conversations :)

hmm, i think u'r very wise. much cheaper to chat with internet, also convenient too. i think i'll consider it more. but some of my friends think that phone is more convenient, so they always prefer to give phones.

My sleeping pattern has been off for several years now. When my daughter was a baby, I worked third shift so that we could avoid paying for daycare. This meant that I was awake all night. I got to come home and sleep for 2-3 hours, then stay up with her until she was ready for a nap. Then, I was able to sleep another 2-3 hours before it was time for me to go to work. I haven't worked that shift since 2005, but I've never been able to get back on a regular sleeping pattern. I hope that it will eventually happen though.

I only need 5 hours of sleep. I usually stay up until i am tired enough to go to sleep. These days I am dreaming of my love. Real romantic stuff. Before him, I would have some wild, action packed dreams. it was like I was in a action film!

I have no problem with sleeping. I do have seldom nightmares. Sleeping is my favorite time after a busy day. It helps my body restore energy to supply my daily activities for the next day.

Hi stand87 . I think I have the same problem here. It seems it has to be pretty exact. Something like 7 hours give or take 15 minutes. If I don't, I have to nap. If I nap too long then I don't fall asleep when I need to.

I don't sleep very well at all too. I sleep deep, but not well enough in the same way...And I really don't know anything about sleeping deep - I always used to sleep deep. I'm drinking coffee but it don't depend on my sleeping. Just don't know - maybe the stress is the key here? But I don't feel like stressed person.

So far I don't have problems with my sleeping except for me sleeping late (after 11 PM) because of surfing a lot. I'll make it a point to stop being so hooked to the internet. We just got this net connection lately so I feel kinda high and so in to it. I'm not having nightmares recently. Sometimes I feel like I don't remember any of my dreams at all, but it's just normal. I've watched once on TV that the average number of dreams that we have PER NIGHT of sleep is 2,000,000. We just forget most of them. You can read before you sleep. That always works for me. My eyes eventually get tired of it that it makes me feel drowsy.

Maybe you're right! Sleeping after 11PM is maybe a problem. I always go to bed after 12PM. But when I go before 12PM it's alright. I don't remember my dreams most of the time too. But sometimes I have situations like remembering my dreams day after day. It's strange! For example - there is one week in two months in which I remember what I dreamed last night. I can say that I still remember these dreams.

I sleep really very less because of tensions but i don't feel much about it. Sometimes i sleep about 2 am or 3 am even and wake up early in the morning. So many times I try to sleep as well but so many things keep on revolving in my brain and then i fail to sleep for long time. I tried so many times to sleep but still fails to sleep as my mind hate rest....lol and keeping thinking somethings all the time which keep me restless...
