Why are we here?

This is an age old question that has been asked time and time again. But just to differ from the original concept I will ask: Why are we here on planet earth itself? Why is it out of all the entire universe this little blue planet is the only one that has life on it? What made us THAT special that God would waste all that space just for us. And for some of us this very God does not exist. Could it be then that aliens exist, and we are actually the aliens who somehow came upon this flourishing planet, exhausting its wealth then finally destroying it before we move on to our next conquest. When we have finally reached the limit of our existence the world will still be here and will renew itself because thats what planets like this do but will another set of aliens like us come along again in another lifetime to suck the life out of the planet again? No Im not gone wacko but think about it. Where did we come from to be on this planet claiming it as ours. I would love your opinions. Do share.

This planet was created to support life. There are lots and lots of Earths out there. The universe is vast. There is great distance between life planets for a very good reason. By the time you are wise enough to develop the technology to reach another life planet, you are wise enough not to screw it up when you get there. Clearly man is not ready.

This is a great discussion .And I am sure that everyone on this planet has thought about all the questions you have askedthemselves all of those questions themselves.
We are here on this planet because God has created us for the purpose of wprshipping him .He intened for us to be happy ,multiply ,replenish the earth with more kids as well as improving the pysical infrastructure.
With regards to aliens ,I dont think that there are any other life in this unisverse except us because I believe that we would have come in contact with them already I think the intention of God was for the entire universe to be populated but then that hasnt happened yet because I think that we turned out so bad he put that project off.
Excellent discussion

Thanks for your response Ronny. I believe in the God that created this earth and I believe He has a purpose for me here but I live with a sketic and a believer in the mytics so I tend to keep an open mind. I however am of the belief that other worlds exist. The Bible itself has made mention of these other worlds "out there" where ever that is looking on to see what is happening in this world. Could it be then that God Himself is a super scientist and we are merely His test tube subjects? Just saying .....

Well first off we dont know for certain that we are the only living beings in the universe or galaxy, in fact I think its very much posible that there is other life forms in other parts of space that we just haven't discovered yet, its just that earth is the only planet we know of right now that has life on it. but who knows I prefer to keep an open mind because someday we may find out that our planet isent the only planet that god has chosen to bless and flourish with life.

Well good luck on finding the answer to that one because I think just about anyone that is curious enough to think about the meaning of life or why we are here has thought that same question. We've been on this planet trying to figure out that answer for so long and still nothing. Maybe we don't have a purpose here or maybe we are merely gaining experience and getting ready for our next level of evolution. It's hard because none of us truly knows we just have theories and ideas.

The first time human think about it, they arrive at a simple conclusion, that all this universe made up just by coincidence. It's really seems like it when we thought that the only livable planet of the whole universe is this earth in the Milky Way. It's too seems coincidence when we know that the earth's distance to the sun is approximately 150m kms, and that knowledge brings us to amount that the distance is only approved for living like us to live.
But then some scientist think that none in this world happen by a mere coincidence. It all started from the Big Bang, and up until now, everything, and I mean everything is on move.

hi!.. God has purposes why we are here on this planet. everything has its purpose like tree, why do become tree, why birds can fly, why humans cannot. there are a lot of things that u are curios what they are like that and many things. In our part we are lucky enough that we comfortably living with our lives. (not all). hence, we just need to thank God of what we have right now. thats it

I always say were hear to succeed where others have failed. i mean think about it why else would we have evolved and changed are environment so much, you want to know why because we are dominant, we have dominated every last thing that has come across us and who knows we may even do greater thing outside our world !
