2012 From a christian point of view

Nothing. I believe Jesus could come back any time and it doesn't has to be December of 2012...and I think the Government has better things to do right now-like try to cover up all the lies..

Bah! Humbug! A closer study of the Mayan calendar reveals that the Mayans never said the world would end in December 2012. They gave a detailed acount of what would happen when the world came to an end and their calendar just so happened to only go up to December 2012. There's very little backing to idea that the Mayans predicted the end. If any govt. really wanted to pick a day to cause trouble, they should've done it at midnight January 1 2000. A lot of people were freaked out about that one.

Hi albinowhite1 . Well, the Antichrist as of today has not arisen and signed an agreement with the Jews for seven years (see Daniel 9). At the end of that 7, the nations are gathered against Israel at Armaggedon. Then Christ returns for an earthly rule of 1000 years. So, until the Antichrist does his thing, I figure we still have just over 1007 years left for the planet. The main thing is to be committed to Christ, and thus be ready.
