Anyone got any good tips about getting into the dating scene? Been two years since I took a vacation from men. And I am just missing the companionship. I'm not to much on the internet dating thing. And the men my friends want me to go out with, well let's just say "not gonna happen".lol Seems a bit scary to me. I would appreciate a little input on where some of you have found your companions. I just don't frequent the bars and such. Thanks

I don't think principles in dating really change.just keep an open mind and have fun.you can try going to a book club,a culinary or art class,or a yoga class to meet different men.you can also try to volunteer at shelters or orphanages.if you meet someone and he asked you out, then great.do not pressure yourself to have a boyfriend.just enjoy his company.if sparks didn't fly,at least you have a new friend.

It's hard, isn't it?
I am in my 30's and have been single for the last couple of years now. I get out quite a bit, but always fine myself with existing friends, many of whom are couples.
I've tried internat dating, and 'met' some people online, but no-one I would really want to meet!
I met my last partner at work, but I can't see that happening this time.
I guess the thing is to just always be open to meeting new people... maybe join a club, evening class or something like that?

you are right about being open minded though. but i think datind is a lot harder than when i was younger. i have been thinking about a singles club, thanks for reminding me.lol....good luck on finding yours. i wouldn't worry to much you are still a baby.lol
