KITTY! Get out of the sink

Yep, I have found some of my cats SLEEPING in the kitchen sink. I have a pic of one- but I am not at my home computer to get the photo :( I don't know what it is.. but they do it a lot.. and sometime don't move until someone turns the water on and they start getting wet.. lol

Our cats despise the sink weather it be bathroom or kitchen. They will couciously walk around it. But they will not climb in it, or walk in it in any way. Well I take it back. If I'm tired, and I put an empty dish in the sink because I don't want to put it in the dishwasher for whatever reason, Precious will check out the dish. Especally if some stack up. Then, and only then, will he happily step in the sink enough to get at said dish, or dishes. If its more then one there is usually a crash.

My one cat used to make a game out of it I think. She would sneak up in the sink and jump out when she heard someone coming, it didn't matter how many times we scolded her she wouldn't quit. I hated it, I don't want the cats on my kitchen counters or table..and she would walk the length of the counter to get to the sink. I got tired of her doing it and one night I put about 2 inches of water in the sink and went on about my business. That was the last night the cat ever jumped in my sink.

Same thing as your first response here. We have a very old cat, and at any given time we will find him in some strange places. He will occasionally be in the kitchen sink, sometimes we might find him in the tub of all places, or in our kitchen cupboard. Not the one with any food in it mind you, no we will find him in the cupboard with the pots and pans. But like I said he is old, and we have had him for 14 years so he is not going anywhere.

Ahh, those cats.. Always funny. Well, my cat have never ever sitted in kitchen sink. I don't know why. But she is sitting in my bath everyday, and in bathroom`s sink aswell. Hehe. I can't understand why she is doing that, because she has a fear of water. Lol O.o Mindaugas.
