After rahul dravid career is over in Odi cricket and in replace of him india is looking for consistent performer as india find out the Virat Kohli become a Wall for india in recent time...In the last 5 innings in Odi cricket Kohli score 2 centuries and 1 half century ...and all the innings are played at the crucial time when india required a solid stand to the other side of the wicket....

Rahul Dravid........... Thats a big name and not easy to fit into those big shoes. Virat has just started his career. He has long way to go and many points to prove before one can compare him with a living legend like Dravid. I'll try and put forward my views.
First of all Virat Lacks the technique that separates Dravid from the rest of the lot. His footwork is not the best. he is too dependent on onside shots. Wait till he is sorted out by the bowlers and then you will see a different Virat.
secondly Viraat is far more aggressive in his actions than Dravid. We can see him swearing and Making unwanted gestures.
These things will make a big difference in the long run. We will only come to know how close he is to Dravid once he is out of form. Only great players can be graceful even when out of form and then recover from that situation.

He has scored one century and two fifties actually (one of them was 91 I think). Anyway you can really compare him to Rahul Dravid straight away. Dravid has prospered against all oppositions and in all conditions. He has done well away from India which is really important. He has been a consistent performer for India for many years and his defensive technique is second to none.
Yes Kohli has a very good technique and a good temprement, but you cannot judge him on a couple of good innings. He needs to be given time and his performaces overseas on bowler friendly wickets must be seen. He looks a very good player though and a very good replacement for Dravid. He has all the shots in the book and he plays them well. Only time will tell if he can be the next great batsmen. I hope he does well.
