When I started out on here and learnt how it all works I did keep a track on how many response I made, discussions started etc etc and to be honest like many people tried to work out how the earnings corresponded to my activity. But ended up deciding that it achieved nothing by tracking my own activity other than using time. So these days I just come on here, have fun, respond to what discussions take my fancy and depart.

Hey! Great response! Thank you! I also prefer to discuss more, instead of counting. I really like to respond more. Today it's one of the best days, because today i had a great mood and I responded a lot and also made few discussions with interesting articles.

Of course I count my responses. I have a certain goal that I try and make any day. At least between 30 or 40 I find to be a good goal to shoot for. Maybe I will go for more on some days. That is the barest minimum I think I need to acquire the minimum payout at the end of the month. Still, I count the replies I have made so I can decide how much time I need to spend on MyLot.

Thanks for your opinion! How do you count them? At the end of the day? Or just putting down the number on paper after every response? It's very interesting!

i have to admit that on my first month here in mylot, i did that. i was tracking how much participation get me how much earnings and when i would be nearing my first pay-out. hehe i did that for about a little over 2 weeks until i reached my very first pay-out. like most newcomers i was pretty skeptical if mylot would prove to be tru and not a scam. but i realized that the more i participate and become active in the site, the more i enjoyed it. earnings was just a bonus.
so except for my first month, i never did keep track how many posts i make each day. i could be gone for a few weeks or a few months... i could be making 1 post or 5 at the most... i could just be reading and doing PMs and not posting...
simply put, i just enjoy my time here in mylot whenever i can.

No, I don't usually, as I lose track anyway. It really doesn't matter now many I do a day, as I do what I can anyway, as I have other sites to do, so I do take breaks form time to time to get them done. I don't push myself to do to many though, as by doing so, my posts wouldn't be quality, as I would be trying for quantity instead, and mylot is looking for quality instead. I am more concerned about sharing with others and learning as that is more important anyway. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

...Hi there abruzzi10, Happy 2010 to you and your family. Sometimes I count my responses, sometimes I don't. I am trying to arrive at a certain daily amount, and then see if I can maintain that amount. Haven't got there yet. I do mentally total my discussion reponses, but not an accurate count daily. It's a bit of fun to see how you have done in your goals on mylot. The interaction with everyone is fun and very interesting as well. Take care.

Its funny b/c I'm new to my lot and I'm sitting here with a pen and paper trying to track my responses, and it really does see m to take up a lot of your time, so I think I'll give it a res for a while and just have some fun for right now.

Not really. Well, I am not so active on MyLot a lot. I mean in posting and responding. I love reading discussion of my interest and learn from them as much as I can. As I don't respond much I don't need to keep a count of them. Because the numbers are very small. I just keep a look at responses to my discussions everyday. That's it.

No, I do not count my post. I write as much as I like, respond to discussions without counting and enjoy myself. I havent earned 10 dollars in 3 months these days, but then I write at my own pace and when I feel enough, thats it. I also play online rummy, so I get distracted with it and hence less posts. Cheers.

hi abruzzi10 no I do not as a rule, I try to end in a zero but other than that I have not the foggiest idea of how many replies or responses or comments I make in a day, just hoping I make enough day to pay my internet bill and have fun and enjoy mylotting at the same time. For one thing with mylot loading so
blasted slow I just try to hurry things a long a bit, not stopping to count anything but using the time for writing instead as I do not get paid for counting something at all.

Totally agree with you! Counting - it's waste of time! Discuss more - that's great!

Sometimes, if I feel like counting but most of the time nope. But actually I'm more of the quality of responses rather than quantity because the quality of their response means a lot specially if you're a type of person who always look out for the good responses.

I try to make at least 50 a day but I always lose count. But on the average, I make at least 20 responses or discussions before the day finishes. There are also days when I don't log in.

I like to see my number grow, but I do not count. I try to post at least 10 responses a day, but I don't really keep track. I just post to what I find interesting and go off to my other sites.

I used to count my response posts everyday...Well that was when I first started Mylotting..I did that to know how many post for certain earning. But I soon discovered that its not about how many posts but it is about the quality of the response or discussion. And the rating also influence the earning.
Now I don't do the count anymore.

Hello, Abruzzi. No, I don't bother. The only time I might take any notice is if I'm close to a milestone, like 1000 or 2000 posts, and then I'll see if I can get there that day. I never spend as much time as I want to on MyLot, as I have a lot of other stuff going on as well, so I don't want to waste any of that time checking on activity. As long as I enjoy the discussions, that's all that matters.

Hello Abruzzi,
It do not matter to me how many responces, I reply to because I only, repsond to thetopics that intrest me, like this one, I though this topic was pretty cool, also when I come on Mylot, there is no special qota I have for myself, but just like most of us here , I do hope that i can make pay out one day.

I count my posts everyday like i have to make at least 20 posts everyday. But sometimes when I found myself engrossed with the discussion, i feel like posting for more. This site is nice and the people here are nice. I will just put one question here then many people responds and help you answer your question. I just hope this site won't be down.

Hi abruzzi10, i don't count how many posts and comments i make everyday but just look at the number that it is increasing. I love to be on myLot sharing my views with people from whole world and i am happy that i have got chances to share my views here. I don't make any target either that i have to do this much or that much and just try to have a nice time here replying to posts which i see on screen and found them interesting for me to reply so i do otherwise just keep on surfing and so many times i just love to read others discussions and don't comment even..lol... really nice place to share our views but i don't prefer to count number of replies or comments... Thanks for asking a good question.
