Is global warming true?

We read a hear a lot about global warming and the meltdown of antartica, but is it true that the climate change is caused by us or is it just the way how works? I really don't know. When i hear Algore i think he is right but it is the same thing with other scientists who can prove he is wrong. Who should we believe?

Did you know that there's a biker gang called Hells Angels? In any case, I think that Global Warming is very real, and that it is because of us. After all we have so many different things we do, there's satellites in space, not sure how many, but I could see us burning atmospheres with all the pollution we do.

truely the global warming is present and at high rates than before. if u reside at the urban then u might not see the big effects of global warming but if u reside at country side then u will see. oceans level have increased, less snow at the himalayas, scattered rainfalls, increase in temperature and decrease in temperature in summer and winter resp. all are the sign of global warming. i heard news that if now the temperature of the earth if incresed by 2-4 degree celcius then north pole and south pole will start to melt in much higher rates and well i dont wana think about or imagine that situation.

yes nature works like that but when it is in a faster rate than people it might be people's cause.

I'm a Chemistry student and let me just say that global warning is one topic my professors refuse to discuss with us. It's really a hard thing, proof that they use regarding chemicals that are released by things we use and all can cause issues in large amounts but then some say that there are so many other things in this world that use those chemicals so its impossible. I think there are too many factors involved and maybe we play a part of it but I don't think its something that we can truly stop or slow down. I've also heard through research studies that the sun is actually getting hotter, makes sense, but that is hitting the Earth more. There are just so many possibilities out there for explanations that its hard to pin point, but I think if anything it's more of a combination. One thing for sure though is the Earth is definitely heating up slowly over time.

I think your comment is wise one. There people who follow scientists just by hearing them and by watching documentaries. I think it's a personal choice wich is difficlut to make.

well..its really interesting! ...i saw a documentry on the youtube...about this global warming hoax..and stuff like that its really interesting..and it makes lots of... about myths of man made global warming. You should cheak out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpWa7VW-OME

well its not only one video...there are actually loads of videos that...doesn't accept the global warming is due to man. I only posted one. but what they are talking about are something...that should be thought about!...there are always possibilities. Well even if its not true...it keeps us aware about...the possibilities of global warming hoax.

Hello. I think It's not wise of to believe them only by watching one video wich is made to convince people (even if it's not true).

Yes Global Warming is very real, but I do think it is a combination of factors causing it. First human causes are very real because of carbon emissions from industrial sites around the world. As a whole some countries or more responsible than others but this has become a worldwide problem that everyone will have to face in the next few decades. Sooner rather than later the world must come together to not only find and develop cleaner fuel sources but actually put them into practice. However, many experts also point out that this is a natural occurence as well that happens every 1000 years or so. In any case much of what is causing the problem is reversable, but only when we come together on the issue as a global community.

Why, haven't you noticed the exraordinary heat during certain times of the day? This wasn't so years ago and if we do not do something to care for our environment, this could get worse. I cannot last long standing under the heat of the sun nowadays. It is so damaging, the heat of the sun hurts and is unbearable. It is time we do something drastic to minimize global warming.

NO. Here in Amsterdam it's colder than usual it's snowing more that ever. So what you are saying doesn't count for us in Europe.

We are warming up, the earth goes through this cycle often, it may be that human activity has caused this to come faster or stronger. In the past warming cycles are followed by an Ice Age. The last time there was a warming cycle the Ice Age come within ten years. I am much more worried about this and we are in the cycle of warming now, what humans do will probably not have an effect on what is coming. We know about this due to the ice cores they are studying from the polar ice.
