Why people make friends if they dnt know the real meaning of friendship?

Yup m agree with you 100 %. But just tell me what is the real meaning of love as u asked or said according to you because i know only one definetion that friendship is thge next name of believe. If you believe in your friend only then you can make a good friendship...

I think that's true. People like to have friends for different reasons, I don't have many friends because I like to have only good friends I can count on and who can count on me but I know a lot of different people who I don't call friends. There's this girl who is always bored so she calls people, goes out with people just because she wants to be entertained, so she likes to have a lot of friends, well she calls us friends, but we aren't her friends actually for her we are just people who will entertain her when she is bored. But if she is not bored or has already made with some other friend - entertainer she'll easily ignore you. Then there's this other girl I know who thinks she is the best friend in the world and that everyone likes her...she likes to have million friends but when she needs something or someone she can't rely on any of them. Her vision of friendship is superficial...for her friends are people she'd go out with, people who call her when they need a ride but who won't call her to ask if she needs a ride. People today are selfish and value wrong things, I can't say I don't because sometimes I choose rather to stay at home and write a few reviews to earn $10 than to go for a drink with a friend who I know has nothing new to tell me. We all need company and I guess some people just need someone while others want honest friends that they can count on.

I agree that there are many people who don't know the meaning of friendship. But why they keep having new friends. In my opinion people can't live without having contacts with others. Everybody needs at least one friend. You have to talk with somebody about interests, problems and etc. Maybe making friends is a way of finding out the meaning of this kind of relationship.

I agree with you.Some people just use you for what you have and when you loose it,then they no longer want to be friends with you.Others let you down n hurt you.when you have been nothing but sweet n friendly to them.
