Audtition

Hey Mylotters.... I was curious if anyone has seen the Japanese film Audition. I have heard really great things about it and am very interested in seeing it. I usually pay between 5.99 and 7.99 for my movies because I buy them all used. I went in to get this movie and they store I buy from only has brand new copies of it, because they just put out a new addition of it. I was wanting to know any opinions on it bcause I didn't want to spend $20 on a movie if it wasn't worth it. If you have seen Audtion, please let me know what you think! I am anxious to hear!!

Hi, I watched some of the film but haven't seen all of it. I think how much you like it may really depend on how much you like these kinds of films-is one of those very 'dark' Horror films. From what I have gathered from the parts of the film I watched(perhaps more then half)it's a film that is done well if you like these kind of films-I'm not sure how much you want me to review what I saw of it as it may give some things away if I mention parts!

I have read a bit about it, but don't know much. It sounded great, but then I got worried that it might be a bit too graphic for me. I like the Asian films becuase they usually leave gore to the imagination, but I have heard that this isn't the case with Audtion. Did you find it gorey?

I can confirm, from what I saw it is very gorery, yes. I think more then half an hour may go past, then the gore begins, yes.

I finally saw it and it wasn't as gorey as I expected it to be. It held my interest for sure but I was very confused by the end!!! There were so many ways that the story could be taken, I am not sure I got it right. I am going to have to watch it again for sure.
